sponsors, tables to purchase memberships or handle credit card processing, and food and drink vending
machines. Other happenings included a spectator mini-tournament
for gift card prizes and a musical guest, Griff Parrish, near
the beginning of the event. The competitors used a preliminary
beta of the Unabridged Finger Jousting Rules and Regulations prior
to official release. The placers in the event received cash prizes
and custom medals presented by Miss Troup County, Lauren Wagner.
The national anthem was sung by Angie Berman. The intermission
act was Eric Burnham's juggling. There were preliminary certified
referees, announcers, and various semi-celebrities. The Lord of
the Joust, Julian Gluck, was the tournament director and other
staff included Luke Brown, marshal; Donovan King, referee; Dylan
Hall, referee; Tyler Davis, announcer; Justin Whitfield, announcer;
Jason Allen, tournament assistant; Alex Davis, videographer; and cKw
Photography, photographer. During the course of the
event, filming and photographing went on, and local media was
invited.
